The process of obtaining a Greek Golden Visa typically takes between 3 to 6 months. Here is a breakdown of the steps:

1. Property Selection & Due Diligence: Select a qualifying property and perform legal and technical property checks.
2. Legal Representation: Appoint a Greek lawyer via a Power of Attorney (POA). Your lawyer will obtain a Greek Tax Number (AFM) and open a Greek bank account on your behalf.
3. Purchase Contract & Payment: Sign the official purchase contract before a notary and transfer the funds. The deed is then registered at the Land Registry.
4. Application Submission & Blue Receipt (Veveosi): All documents (deed, insurance, passport, etc.) are compiled and submitted online to the Ministry of Migration. A temporary residence receipt ('Blue Receipt') is issued immediately.
